Terms of Service
These terms apply to all electrical services quoted, scheduled, or performed by Quantum Wave Electric LLC ("we," "us," "our") for any customer ("you," "your") in Alaska.
1. Estimates & Quotes
Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Estimates are based on the scope and conditions described at the time of the site visit; concealed conditions, scope changes, or AHJ-required modifications may result in a change order. We will obtain your written or electronic approval before performing change-order work.
2. Scheduling & Access
You agree to provide safe, unobstructed access to the work site and to the relevant electrical equipment during scheduled hours. Delays caused by lack of access, other trades, or AHJ scheduling are not the responsibility of Quantum Wave Electric LLC.
3. Permits & Inspections
We pull and close out electrical permits with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for work that requires them, including the Municipality of Anchorage, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough (via the State Electrical Inspector), and other applicable AHJs. Permit fees are passed through at cost unless otherwise stated.
4. Code Compliance
All work is performed to the currently adopted edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable Alaska state and local amendments. We will not knowingly perform work that violates code.
5. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due upon completion. Larger projects may require a deposit and progress payments per a written schedule. Unpaid balances over 30 days accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by Alaska law, whichever is lower.
6. Warranty
Workmanship is warranted for one (1) year from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to installed equipment per each manufacturer's terms. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, modification by others, lightning, utility events, or acts of nature.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Alaska law, our total liability for any claim arising from work performed is limited to the amount paid by you for that specific scope of work. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, lost data, or business interruption.
8. Concealed Conditions
Existing electrical systems may contain undisclosed defects, prior unpermitted work, damaged conductors, or other concealed conditions. Discovery of such conditions may require additional work outside the original scope and will be handled via change order.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel a scheduled visit at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations and no-shows may be billed at our minimum dispatch fee. Custom-ordered materials remain your responsibility once ordered.
10. Emergency & After-Hours Service
After-hours, weekend, and holiday dispatch may be billed at premium rates as disclosed at the time of dispatch.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Anchorage, Alaska.
12. Updates
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL and applies to work scheduled or performed after the date of posting.
